Shimamoto town of Mishima,Osaka-pref,is the side of east by south of Osaka-pref. Saying old age way which is the end of Setsu country and boundary line of Yamashiro country.

The Old Western High Way go through this town.

The population of this town is about 31,000 peoples and many of greenish and I felt much plentiful country.

Also I found the explanation board on the point by point so reading the such board to walk which very much enjoyed.

I have to say thank you for this town efforts.

Entering into this town,I want to see the ruins of Sakurai station which was the repture place of Mr.Masashige[father] and Mr.Masatuna [son].

Specially,I am living near to Kobe from child as Mr.Masashige who is very much respected person.

In the year of 1336,Masashige going to Kyoto from west,he waited Mr. Ashikaga army to fight at Hyogo

He is ready to death so he called his son of Masatura at Sakurai station and he explained several things to his son and then asked him to return to his son's country.

Here is this reptured place.Here to Kyoto,via Yamazaki and to west then again via Nishinomiya and then to Hyogo.

Cross over the Yodo river then to Katano,Shijyounawate and to Kawachi which means Sakurai station is the branch off point.

Later on Masatura Kusunoki has been die in the battle at Iimori mountain at Shijyohnawate.
